Grampy was in Abu Dhabi for business and Ben was really missing him while he was away. So, on the Sunday after he returned Grampy called Ben to go see a movie, just the two of them. The MINUTE they hung up the phone Joe and I heard the front door open and we were wondering what was going on... even though Ben had two hours to wait he decided to park his stool right by the front door and wait for Grampy to arrive. He was really excited and it was pretty cute.
They saw "Despicable Me" and Ben seemed to love the movie. When he got home he did a drawing of the movie... I was curious what it looked like, so I pulled the pic online. Seems like he had a good memory of what was going on. Also, Ben knows who to take to the movies - he was in heaven with his blue slushy, popcorn and Twizzlers. I MUST mention that while those two were at the movies Bubba came over and sweated her head off working in the yard with us. It was HOT and we really appreciate all the hard work. The house is looking really good and we're set to list on Aug. 19!!!!! It's true :)
