When we moved to our new house, we noticed there was a vegetable garden on one side of the garage... it captured Ben's interest on-and-off all winter. He had planted some veggies at his babysitter's house the previous summer, and his essential question at school for the month of April was "How do things grow?" So, he really felt like a gardening pro. For Easter from Bubba and Grampy he got garden tools and seeds, and today he finally got his wish to plant the garden. They worked clearing debris from last year, pulling weeds, turning the soil and finally planting seeds (the part Ben was WAITING for)! We're keeping our fingers crossed that things start to grow in a few weeks... we'll keep you posted!
