Lego Contest-

Ben entered the Lego competition at our local library and won 3rd place for best construction. He built an alien shuttle and launch pad. Joe was annoyed that the kid who won first place clearly had some MAJOR help from an adult, the kind of help that's like "move over kid, we're winning this contest!!!" (we made Ben complete his own building and design with minimal help from us). The library also had some Lego games and activities — Ben was excited our family won the tallest construction built from a bag of Legos the library provided to each family. It was a fun morning — my boys love their Legos!

First Fire

It's been such a mild winter, but we did manage to have ONE fire on a snowy evening. We even played a few rounds of our favorite game UNO!

Little Wreck Wreck & Big Brother

Ben used to be our Little Wreck-Wreck but now someone new is taking over! Here is Nora's latest obsession - taking everything out of the kitchen drawers and cabinets. Time to get out those annoying cabinet locks! You forget about that stuff ...

Here's our artist busy at work. He's usually creating an iPod or iPad out of paper complete with Angry Birds games and different levels. I'll have to post one - they are pretty cool!

Snackin' It-

This is Nora's definition of snacking ... she crawls to her high chair, pulls herself up and lifts up the cushion to find little bits of food that she dropped at her last meal. She does this multiple times a day and it is so gross/funny. I'm considering setting a little bowl of Cheerios there so at least she has a new snack - not something that was fingered, drooled and dropped hours before.

11 months-
