First Food

First food (after rice cereal) was sweet potatoes. She wasn't too sure of them...

BLOCKS!!

Our friend Shana loaned us her blocks from her childhood (they were collecting dust in her parent's basement)... and she mentioned that Ben would love them last time Shana and Max were in STL. Well, Shana was right, Ben is over-the-moon about them! Every day we have a new creation in our living room. The coolest part is that you can really tell he's got a plan and strategy before building. Best. Toy. Ever.

Bates Cradle-

Nora had her turn in the Bates Family Cradle. It's a favorite cousin tradition...

 We got to see our friend Arlo and meet his little sister, Evelyn.

Oh yeah, not to mention see our dear friends Kristina and Darrell, Shana and Max.

It was a regular KCAI reunion!!

Lake Geneva, Part 1

Nora was a happy little traveler... she did great the ENTIRE vacation (minus SLEEPING at night, but I'll cut her some slack since her teeth were coming in). She was awesome on the drive, at the ball game, on the pontoon boat, at the water park, several restaurants, etc. I was worried for nothing! What a gal!
